Big Question:

Is success directly dependent on upbringing?

  1. Research on twins can be a good source of information on the influence of nature and nurture. Of course, this sort of thing can be difficult to generalize from person to person, even if they are genetically identical, so you'll also need to be specific in the way you define success.

  2. Dr. Preston brings up a good point. This is a question where you could easily get carried away with the research. Defining and focusing on one meaning of success will really help you succeed on answering your big question. Best of luck!

  3. Are you also going to factor in certain areas (Compton vs. Beverley Hills)and cultural backgrounds? Or does that not really make a difference?

  4. Interesting question I look forward to reading it. What is your definition of success?

  5. This sounds good, is it only possible for people with good upbringings to achieve success and are those with poor ones condemned to that, or is it about something else?
